Oh Boy, Those Baby BoomersPiper was walking across camp, trying to find Leo. He was supposed to be showing her something, but halfway through his special presentation, he vanished and Piper was left alone and confused.

She walked along until she came to the edge of the woods, walking in zig zags and not really caring or wondering where she was going.

Suddenly the world around her shifted, and her stomach went through the sensation of being squeezed inside out and then going in reverse. She practically threw up inside, and when she could breathe normally again, she wasn't in Camp HalfBlood.

She saw several other figures around her, while her vision was blurred, and

A BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO HOGWARTS

A first-person walk-through of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

I conceived it as a tool for fic-writers who're writing fic set at Hogwarts and want to know where everything is in the castle and how it feels to be there.

[I imagined it like I was a Gryfflepuff Prefect, handing out 'How To Hogwart for Dummies!' pamphlets to all the new first-years on Platform 93/4! ^_^]
NOW INCLUDES A FRONT-COVER, DETAILED MAP, CLICKABLE CONTENTS-LINKS AND A CHOICE OF PARCHMENT/BLANK WHITE PAGE BACKGROUNDS! ^_~


[I'd really appreciate comments/feedback on this, since I'd like to know if / how many people find it helpful -- and of course, if this helps anyone to write a fic it'd be interesting to see how it turns out!]

Hee, it ~was deliberate, yes [you'll notice I *did* leave in the tapestry of Barnabus the Barmy training trolls for the ballet, so if someone read this thoroughly and went on a treasure-hunt to find all the things mentioned...?] I thought the RoR should be something students find for themselves, but only in a time of ~need. ^_^

*squee* Thank you! ^_^ Can't you just picture it, though? I think maybe if Fred & George had been Hufflepuffs instead of Gryffindors, they might have been handing this out instead of the Marauder's Map? ^_^
